Job summary

Blank Street in New York City is hiring a Shift Lead to manage daily store operations and lead a team in delivering high-quality coffee and hospitality. You will guide teammates, ensure recipes and procedures are followed, and help ramp up new staff with hands-on coaching.

With a hands-on leadership style, you thrive in fast-paced environments, maintain customer focus, and act as an ambassador for the brand while supporting growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service leadership role.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Full-time availability: 30–40 hours weekly, 4–5 days, with peak days Fri–Sun.

Responsibilities

• Craft beautiful coffee and matcha beverages with consistency.
• Provide exceptional hospitality to Blank Street customers.
• Assist the GM and train new team members on recipes and store processes.
• Open and close the store safely and follow all checklists.
• Address and resolve customer issues during shifts.
• Lead and support store initiatives to boost foot traffic, new customers, and daily sales.
