Job summary

ANCHOR POINT MANAGEMENT GROUP is seeking a Shift Leader in Vicksburg, MS. This hourly role covers operating hours, supervises staff, drives customer service, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety across the restaurant.

You may close or occasionally open the restaurant and model exemplary skills and behaviors for the team. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months in a supervisory role in a service-related business, is 18+, and can work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Comes to work with good hygiene.
• Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
• A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and accurately take their orders.
• Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and policies.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations when asked.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
• Offers ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace.
• Reports any serious issues to their manager and HR as needed.
• Conducts food safety and prep audits daily.
• Conducts daily inventory monitors performance and shares responsibility for cash procedures.
