Job summary

Cup of Joe Cafes, LLC is seeking a Shift Lead for our Starbucks licensed store in the Trustmark Building, downtown Mobile, AL. You will lead the shift when the Store Manager is off-site, owning the guest experience and keeping the team running smoothly on the floor.

The role requires at least 1 year in a supervising capacity in food service, retail, or hospitality. You will work with a team on a high-energy floor, while modeling hospitality and Starbucks standards for guests and partners alike.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in food service, retail, or hospitality.
• You lead by example and set the tone for the team.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during rush periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift from the floor, directing workflow and supporting baristas to ensure a consistently excellent Starbucks experience.
• Open or close the store, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
• Coach the team on drink craft and brand standards in real time.
