Job summary

Family-Residences-and-Essential-Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Lead DSP to guide a team of Direct Support Professionals in a New York residential/day program.

The role focuses on helping people we support develop daily living, social, and decision-making skills while ensuring health and safety. The Lead DSP will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, advocate for individuals, document services, and coordinate care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of direct supports experience.
• Valid SCIP and CPR/FA certifications (provided upon hire if needed).
• AMAP certification or obtain within first 6 months of hire.
• Proficient computer skills; strong writing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Direct Support Professionals on assigned shift to ensure quality services for people we support.
• Accurately document service provision, daily notes and information as required.
• Advocate for people we support and assist in achieving personal life goals.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and monitor service plans.
