Dollar General Corporation in Dayton, OH is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to support a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and help protect company assets.

In this lead role, you will act in the absence of the Store Manager, open and close the store, and help implement planograms while maintaining safety policies and accurate cash handling.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Proficient in basic math and cash handling procedures.
• Experience with cash register functions and deposit control.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, rotate displays, and build displays according to planograms.
• Clean the store and maintain restroom and stockroom cleanliness.
• Open and close the store under manager direction and assist in management duties.
• Perform additional duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
