Job summary

Take 5 Car Wash is seeking a Shift Lead to run the site when management isn’t on-site. You’ll lead the crew, ensure fast, safe operations, and maintain high wash quality while keeping guests happy.

The role involves outdoor work, manual tasks, and owning shift outcomes. Responsibilities include customer engagement, directing wash operations, opening/closing duties, and enforcing safety protocols to protect guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead a team and set a positive example.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage guests.
• Ability to coordinate tasks and delegate effectively during shifts.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to enforce them on site.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a positive, friendly experience.
• Direct vehicles into the wash tunnel safely and ensure proper positioning.
• Lead the team during shifts and coordinate opening/closing procedures.
• Enforce all safety protocols to protect guests, team members and equipment.
• Inspect vehicles before and after wash to ensure quality standards.
