Job summary

Walgreens in Wooddale, AL seeks a part-time Retail Key Holder to support store operations in the absence of management. You will open and close the store, manage cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, including backdoor access for deliveries.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model best-in-class service while coaching team members on inventory, pricing, and displays.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Willingness to obtain PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens/closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring the store is ready for the day.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops to safe, and provides change at registers.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets and assists with products and services, resolves issues.
• Models customer service best practices and proactive assistance to the team.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management when needed.
• Coaches team on vendor orders and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Maintains accurate sales records and price changes, and ensures signage accuracy.
• Assists with inventory control, shelf replenishment, and stock rotation.
• Ensures compliance with relevant laws for regulated products.
