Job summary

Walgreens in Hayden, Idaho seeks a trustworthy store associate to assist with opening and closing duties when management is not available, handle cash operations, and ensure the floor and stockroom are prepared for the business day.

You will greet customers, offer product help, resolve issues, and support inventory, pricing, and merchandising to maintain a high standard of shopping experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to handle cash, provide change, and operate cash registers per store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness of floor and stock room.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Coaches team members in customer service best practices to maintain Walgreens service standards.
• Maintains inventory counts and pricing accuracy, including stockroom and displays.
