Job summary

Sherman Associates is hiring a Coffeehouse Shift Lead for Starbucks East End in Minneapolis. This role supports store operations, delivers exceptional customer service, and mentors baristas during shifts to ensure quality beverages and a welcoming environment.

The position is flexible for part-time or full-time availability, including weekdays and weekends. Prior supervisory and hospitality experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and brand values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months supervisory/lead experience.
• 2+ years of restaurant/hospitality/coffee experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of store operations.
• Delight and uplift customers through human connection.
• Monitor shift to ensure legendary customer service.
• Model and act in accordance with Sherman Associates and Starbucks principles.
• Assist in ordering, scheduling, payroll, and accounting tasks.
• Provide quality beverages and food that meet recipes and presentation standards.
• Drive results through promotions and meeting store goals.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume periods and unusual events.
