Job summary

Blank Street is seeking a Shift Lead for our Los Angeles opening. You will steer shifts, coach the team, and uphold top-tier hospitality while ensuring every customer leaves with a great experience.

You’ll train new hires alongside the General Manager and Training Team, maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and safety standards. Join us to build a strong, energetic team and create a welcoming store culture in a new city.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a customer service leadership position.
• 18+ years of age.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Full Time: 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days per week with 2 peak days (Fri–Sun).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify).
• California Fair Chance Act considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift with clarity and confidence, directing, coaching, and supporting the team while owning the floor.
• Train new team members with GM and Training Team.
• Continue to train others to ensure standards across product quality, safety, and hospitality.
• Delight customers with welcoming and engaging hospitality to turn them into regulars.
• Handle customer or team issues calmly, positively, and solutions-oriented.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment meeting Health Dept. and Blank Street standards.
• Work with Operations and Marketing on events and promotions to grow the brand.
• Master company procedures such as cash handling, inventory, waste tracking, and opening/closing processes.
