Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with lead capacity to support store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager. You will unload trucks, stock and rotate merchandise, and assist customers while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, processing payments, and helping ensure a clean, organized shopping environment with exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Strong math and cash handling knowledge is required.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register and understand cash control procedures.
• Familiarity with plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and greeting.
• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and build displays.
• Maintain register area and operate cash register for purchases.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and compliance.
• Open/close store under direction and ensure safe, clean environment.
