Scooter's Coffee in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Shift Lead to join our fast-paced team. You’ll help ensure smooth shifts, maintain quality and speed, and support the Store Manager with onboarding and training new teammates.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage people and priorities.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods while guiding the team.
• Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with daily operations including opening/closing the store, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot challenges and keep energy upbeat and productive.
• Uphold Scooter's Coffee quality, speed, and service standards.
• Assist Store Manager with onboarding and training new team members.
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales.
• Execute cash handling, POS use, and operational procedures accurately.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Serve as a keyholder and follow opening/closing procedures.

What You’ll Do

As a Shift Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and every cup of coffee meets our high standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
• Leading by example to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.
• Assisting with daily operations, including opening or closing the store, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Troubleshooting challenges as they arise and keeping the energy upbeat and productive.
• Upholding Scooter's Coffee’s commitment to quality, speed, and service excellence.
• Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
• Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner.
• Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures
