Scooter’s Coffee in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Shift Lead to run the shift, coach baristas, and keep things moving during busy periods. You’ll mentor teammates, support speed and quality, and model strong standards.

Responsibilities

• Run the shift and ensure smooth operation.
• Coach baristas in real time to maintain standards.
• Help new team members grow confidence and skills.
• Provide feedback, celebrate wins, and uphold standards.
• Support speed, quality, and customer experience.
• Complete prep work and daily tasks.
• Manage cleaning and daily checklists.
• Jump in wherever needed during rush periods.

• Running the shift and keeping everything flowing smoothly
• Coaching baristas in real time (without making it weird)

• Completing prep work and operational tasks
• Managing cleaning and daily checklists
• Jumping in wherever needed when the rush gets absolutely unhinged (lol)
