Job summary

Insomniacookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our GSU store at 1550 Chandler Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458. You will captain the bakery shift, lead the cookie crew, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold safety standards while managing day-to-day operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training teammates, and delivering a fun, productive night in a fast-paced bakery environment. Flexible part-time schedules and growth opportunities are offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a team-first attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests in our bakery.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during shift and coaching teammates.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Coordinate with the Cookie Crew and work alongside team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.

As a Shift Leader at our GSU store located at 1550 Chandler Rd, Statesboro GA 30458, you are the captain of our bakery day or night! WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience within our bakeries
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 year of working experience in a customer service focused role
• Point of Sales systems experience
