Job summary

Urbane Cafe in California is hiring for a front-of-house role to deliver welcoming guest service and lead by example. You will help keep operations smooth, motivate the team, and ensure fair breaks and task delegation while actively contributing on the floor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, basic math, and experience in front-of-house leadership. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with standing and lifting duties as part of daily duties.

Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
• Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
