Job summary

Blue Falls Car Wash in North Olmstead, OH is seeking a friendly Shift Lead to support the Site Manager and help deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This role offers part-time and full-time options. You will assist customers in choosing wash packages, maintain equipment and facilities, and present a professional image while ensuring safety and efficiency on the wash site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year related experience may be required.
• Repair/Maintenance, Sales, Customer Service and branch management operation knowledge are desired.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with daily operating tasks.
• Provide superior customer service levels that exceed expectations while following company policies.
• Assist customers in choosing their wash package and guiding their entrance into the wash.
• Present a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional image to customers.
• Answer customer questions accurately over the phone and at the wash.
• Maintain wash equipment, facility and grounds while serving customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

SHIFT LEAD ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Site Manager with daily operating tasks.
• Willingly provide superior customer service levels that exceed customer expectations while staying within company policies and guidelines.
• Assist customers in choosing their wash package and guiding their entrance into the wash.
• Present a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional image to customers.
• Answer customer questions accurately both over the phone and at the wash.
• Maintain the wash equipment, facility and grounds all while serving customers throughout their wash experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Functions:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Effectively communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information.
• Frequently moves and lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work and commute in all weather conditions.
• Regularly required to use hands/fingers to operate an access machine or telephone
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers. Regularly bends and crouches to repair car wash equipment.
• Continual standing, moving, and walking for consecutive hours during shift.
• Regularly speaks and listens on the phone and in person, to a customer and fellow employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Repair/Maintenance, Sales, Customer Service and branch management operation knowledge and skills are desired.
