Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Shift Lead in North Little Rock, AR. You will support warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling, ensuring orders are completed safely and accurately.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred leadership and safety training. The schedule offers Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday with a 10:30 PM–6:30 AM shift.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for employees by answering questions and providing process guidance.
• Monitor production activities to ensure work is completed accurately and meets quality standards.
• Support achievement of production goals, quotas, and customer expectations.
• Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing PPE requirements and safety procedures.

Shift Lead Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

Shift Lead Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, or distribution environment required
• Experience performing production, assembly, material handling, or similar operational tasks
• Previous lead, trainer, coordinator, or team support experience preferred
• Ability to train and coach new employees on production processes and safety procedures
• Strong understanding of production workflows, quality standards, and operational expectations
• Ability to monitor production goals, quotas, and performance expectations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and leadership teams
• Ability to identify issues, elevate concerns, and support problem resolution
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently while providing support and direction to team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use production tracking systems, email, and company programs
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and leadership skills

Shift Lead Physical Capabilities

• Ability to perform hands‑on production tasks while supporting team leadership responsibilities
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required by the assigned production area
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Ability to safely wear required PPE and follow site safety requirements
• Ability to work flexible assignments and support changing operational needs

Shift Lead Job Duties

• Provide hands‑on support to production teams while assisting with daily operational needs
• Assist with shift start‑up activities, employee check‑ins, and production readiness

• Provide updates, follow‑up, and communication between employees, customer contacts, and internal teams
• Assist with employee engagement and maintaining a positive team environment
• Support process improvements and operational initiatives as needed
• Perform production duties and other tasks based on customer site requirements
• Maintain flexibility to support changing business needs and assignments
• Complete additional duties as assigned
