Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Shift Leader to work with the Assistant Manager and team to deliver the highest-quality cakes and a warm guest experience. You will share in leading the team and support bakery management to drive daily sales and maintain NbC standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in guest-facing roles in retail or food service, and comfort with Word, Excel and Outlook. Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Manager, General Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards. Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on changing business demands.
