Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Leader to work alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences, high-quality cakes, and a welcoming environment. You will help lead the team, manage daily tasks, and support sales initiatives across the bakery.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Prior guest-facing experience in retail or food service and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager and Assistant Bakery Manager in leading daily bakery operations.
• Coach and supervise team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Drive sales and profitability by executing day-to-day responsibilities in line with NbC standards.
• Ensure compliance with company standards across all bakery activities.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards. Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:
