Job Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse employees to meet safety, quality, productivity, and responsiveness objectives.
• Support and counsel employees regarding needs and concerns.
• Address performance behaviors, recognizing positives and addressing negatives.
• Utilize Quality Network problem solving to improve operations.
• Apply Workplace Organization (WPO) to enhance layouts and efficiency.
• Perform daily updates to the Timekeeping System for payroll accuracy.
• Document problem-solving activities using A-3 reporting format.
• Conduct daily meetings to communicate performance and facilitate discussions.
• Perform weekly safety observation tours.
• Plan daily workloads in advance.
• Support colleagues to optimize shift performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Enforce shop rules and perform SOP audits.
• Participate in the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process.
• Keep the General Supervisor Shop Committee informed of activities.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
