Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking a Shift Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front and back of house areas, including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance on major equipment using a Windows-based computer system and contribute to keeping the hotel running smoothly for guests and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of building maintenance experience, hotel experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas.
• Handle back-of-house maintenance including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on major equipment using a Windows-based computer system.

Join us for this incredible opportunity at Hyatt Regency Dallas, which is located downtown next to the iconic Reunion Tower. The Shift Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The Shift Engineer will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems by using a windows-based computer system.
