Job summary

Hyatt Centric Park City is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the hotel’s interior, exterior, and building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical. You will lead the Engineering team, manage daily operations, and direct routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance to ensure safe, efficient hotel operations.

The role includes maintaining maintenance records, supporting OSHA and safety compliance, and assisting with capital projects and equipment replacement planning.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of engineering management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Experience with hotel building systems, soldering, and brazing preferred.
• Universal Refrigeration Certification and CPO certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent English communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Ability to work on-call, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with hotel departments
• Ability to lift, climb, stand, walk, and work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
