Job summary

PBF Energy is seeking a Supervisor Shift, Emergency Response to organize and implement procedures for security and readiness at the refinery. You will lead the Emergency Response Team and Fire Marshals, ensuring drills, equipment readiness, and incident command readiness.

Responsibilities include developing action plans, coordinating training, executing investigations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Fire Science, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of security, law enforcement, or emergency response experience.
• Current EMT certification (minimum EMT Basic).
• Current Firefighter II certification.
• Knowledge of NIMS 100/300/400/700.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the facility Fire Marshals and Emergency Response Team.
• Maintain ability to serve as a functional member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Develop and implement emergency action and facility response plans and SOPs.
• Ensure emergency response equipment and security systems are maintained and available.
• Initiate and conduct security and emergency response investigations.
• Assist with development and delivery of annual emergency response training.
• Lead training and readiness with external response resources.
• Perform internal audits for compliance.
