Job summary

PBF Energy, a major refinery operator in the United States, seeks a Supervisory Shift in Emergency Response to lead the facility’s Fire Marshals and ER Team. You will develop emergency action plans, maintain response readiness, and ensure regulatory compliance.

As initial incident commander, you will oversee drills, investigations, and audits, while coordinating with external resources and managing a security contract. Strong leadership and EMS credentials are essential.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in security, law enforcement and/or emergency response.
  • EMT certification (minimum EMT Basic).
  • Firefighter II certification.
  • Working knowledge of NIMS 100/300/400/700.
  • 5+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct the facility Fire Marshals and Emergency Response Team.
  • Manage development and training of emergency action plans and procedures.
  • Ensure equipment and security systems are maintained and available.
  • Initiate and conduct security and emergency response investigations.
  • Serve as initial incident commander during facility incidents.
  • Conduct internal and regulatory compliance audits.
  • Contract management of security provider and environmental compliance.
