Job summary

Elevate Textiles is seeking a Department Manager to lead all manufacturing activities of the shift with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, production and cost. You will direct daily tasks, coach operators and ensure policies are applied consistently to achieve plant goals.

This role requires 2–5 years of supervisory leadership, the ability to work across all levels, and exposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 2–5 years leadership experience with the ability to manage mid‑level teams; experience with lean or Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily tasks of operators, service staff and technicians within the department to meet production goals.
• Ensure standard work practices for safety, quality and efficiency.
• Work with all employees to ensure understanding and ongoing training.
• Onboard new employees and monitor training and OJT progress.
• Communicate daily with the team regarding safety, goals, quality issues and plant objectives.
• Foster positive employee relations and two-way communication.
• Collaborate with Burlington management to solve problems and meet plant objectives.
• Maintain a visible presence on the manufacturing floor and daily employee interactions.
