Job summary

Atonne Group Inc is seeking a Shift Cover Rebuilder in Wyoming, MI to join the Transmission Production Department. This full-time role focuses on precise assembly of Shift Cover components in line with quality standards and production timelines.

Working hours are 6:00am–4:30pm Monday through Thursday with overtime on Fridays as needed. The schedule includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch, with no night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Previous mechanical experience or training, preferably in automotive or heavy-duty equipment repair or assembly.
• Ability to use hand tools as required for assembly and repeated tasks.
• Strong understanding of differential systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild transmissions according to established procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Identify parts and components for various transmission models.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure all rebuilt transmissions meet quality and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve mechanical issues and improve processes.
• Assist in training new team members as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

SHIFT COVER REBUILDER
