Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training and individual behavior protocols with documentation.
• Models appropriate behavior and provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback daily.
• Assists residents in ADLs (bathing, transfers, toileting, physical support) and participates in activities.
• Transports residents to medical, vocational, recreational, and educational activities in the community.
• Completes daily documentation (behavioral data, shift summaries, charts, checklists, medication records, incident reports).
• Performs housekeeping tasks (laundry, vacuuming, dusting).

We are searching for a Full -TimeShiftCoordinator to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. A Shift Coordinator applies client rehabilitation strategies, and maintains responsibility for providing minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in tasks associated with daily living, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
