Job summary

Surly Brewing Co. in Brooklyn Center, MN is seeking a Shift Brewer to join our world-class brewery and hospitality team.

This role covers brewhouse operations and non-alcoholic beverage production, with rotating shifts and eligibility for our comprehensive benefits package. As a Shift Brewer, you will manage wort production, yeast handling, CIP, safety, and quality control, while supporting NA THC product blending and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related brewing experience in a production brewery.
• BA/BS degree or formal brewing education preferred.
• MN Special Engineer’s Boiler License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate brewhouse and assist in NA beverage production.
• CIP equipment, wort production, and yeast management.
• Ensure safety, quality, and sanitation across production areas.
• Record keeping and communicating issues to management.
