Job summary

Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead the guest services team, greet guests warmly, and ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs. You will set the tone for outstanding service and act as the daily ambassador for the hotel.

In this role you will supervise front desk staff, coordinate with housekeeping and bell services, monitor reservations and VIP requests, and uphold safety and standards while delivering memorable experiences for guests in downtown Minneapolis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of progressive hotel or related field experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Potential certifications may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage smooth check-ins and check-outs.
• Direct daily front desk operations, track logs, messages and packages.
• Monitor room rates, packages and promotions to enhance revenue while maintaining guest value.
• Lead, train and support the front desk team, addressing guest concerns and safety standards.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful.
• At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
