Job summary

The Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield, managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee facilities maintenance and ensure reliable operations across the property.

The role requires leading the maintenance team, applying extensive engineering expertise, and delivering safe, compliant, cost‑effective service for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field, including prior management experience.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is required, with a trade license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
• Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handling problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Convey information clearly and listen to issues raised by colleagues and guests.
• Work with financial information to support maintenance operations.
• Develop and implement policies for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.
