A Director of Engineering opportunity at Aimbridge Hospitality, LLC for the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel seeks a strong leader to oversee the facilities maintenance function and ensure reliable operations. This role demands deep engineering and maintenance expertise, plus the ability to lead teams and manage guest-facing facilities.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in a related field, preferably with hotel industry experience and a maintenance focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience, including prior management experience.
• Experience in a hotel or related field required; trade license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
• Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handling problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Convey information clearly and listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests.
• Work with and understand financial information and data, including basic arithmetic functions to support maintenance operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.
