Job summary

Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel is seeking an Engineer Supervisor to lead a maintenance team, keep systems running smoothly, and elevate guest experiences through proactive care. You will train and schedule engineers, enforce safety standards, and drive the Preventative Maintenance program across guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires hospitality‑focused leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage energy use and budgets while delivering reliable, cost‑effective

Qualifications

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• May be required to work weekends, holidays, and be available for emergencies.
• Comply with certification requirements (Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid).
• Experience in training, supervising, and motivating staff.
• Ability to evaluate and spot check work of staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, repairs, and ensure guest satisfaction while controlling costs.
• Inspire, train, schedule engineering crew, and champion workplace safety.
• Execute Preventative Maintenance to keep rooms and public spaces up to standard.
• Manage energy usage and budgets, promote conservation, and smart purchasing.
• Respond to guestroom requests quickly and serve as emergency contact.
