Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine.
• Experience in animal shelter medicine or a shelter environment preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary technician practices and shelter medicine protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in medical care of animals in the shelter and foster animals.
• Administer medications and maintain treatment records.
• Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and anesthesia per protocol.
• Support scheduling of surgeries, diagnostics, and appointments.
• Maintain clean, organized medical areas and documentation.
