Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine.
• Shelter medicine or shelter environment preferred.
• Eligible for and willing to obtain Euthanasia Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-stress handling, restraint, and triage for all animals.
• Administer medications and document treatment in records.
• Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and anesthesia.
• Maintain detailed medical records and logs, including DEA logs and reporting.
• Coordinate scheduling of spay/neuter and veterinary appointments.
