Job summary

The Rescue Mission of Roanoke is seeking Family Shelter Supervisors to minister to families and women in crisis, guiding them toward independent living. You will represent the mission with compassion and enforce shelter policies while coordinating with staff and volunteers.

This full-time or part-time role located at 510 4th Street SE in Roanoke requires willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shelter guests by enforcing policies and coaching for accountability.
• Manage HMIS check-in/out, census, appointment management and related records.
• Coordinate with volunteers/interns, provide training and supervision as needed.
• Handle administrative duties, incident reports, and maintain documentation.
• Support conflict de-escalation and report needs to appropriate personnel.
