Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) seeks a Client Stabilization Specialist to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness at shelter or temporary lodging sites.

You will conduct intakes, explain rules and resources, and help residents stabilize while coordinating with leadership. You will perform face-to-face visits, room checks, and HMIS data entry, escalating issues and supporting housing prioritization assessments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 12 months recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
• 1–3 years of full-time health care related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize individuals/families entering shelter or temporary lodging.
• Conduct intakes into HMIS; provide rules/resources education and orientation.
• Perform face-to-face visits, perimeter walks, and escalate stabilization issues to leadership.

Skills

Highschool diploma or GED

Recovery from substance use/mental ill

Healthcare experience 1-3 yrs

Valid identification

BHT preferred not required

CBI Peer Certification within 90 days

Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
