Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. seeks a Client Stabilization Specialist to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness in shelter or temporary lodging.

You will stabilize residents, conduct HMIS intakes, teach rules and resources, and provide orientation while ensuring safe perimeters and clear communication with leadership. Role involves face-to-face visits, room checks, and escalation of issues to support stabilization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 12 months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.
• 1–3 years of full-time health care related work experience preferred.
• Valid identification required.
• BHT certification preferred, but not required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (program specific).
• Complete CBI Peer Certification within 90 days of being hired.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize individuals and families entering shelter or temporary lodging.
• Conduct intakes into HMIS and provide orientation/resources.
• Communicate with leadership about program violations to support stabilization.
• Coordinate with leadership on needs of individuals with complex health and housing needs.
