Job summary

Qualifications

• MSW required from an accredited school.
• At least one year of experience with adults and/or families impacted by poverty, chronic homelessness, mental illness, substance use, or medical issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
• Experience with ETO or other electronic record-keeping systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-centered, trauma-informed care within the shelter.
• Coordinate clinical and administrative functions in compliance with DHS/OTDA.
• Ensure documentation of services and referrals to levels of care.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations.
• Develop and facilitate groups and trainings to promote housing stability.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk management support.
• Maintain accurate client records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Engage with community agencies and service providers.
• Support residents through apartment visits and outings.
• Participate in meetings and pursue professional development toward licensure.
• Perform other related duties.
