VOALA in Costa Mesa seeks a Monitor II to provide security and safety for program premises and participants. The role includes mentoring junior Monitors and supporting training activities. Driving ability is preferred and essential daily on-site operations.

The Monitor II will oversee shelter security, perform bag and person screening, patrol premises, and ensure safety, reporting incidents as needed to protect staff and clients.

Formación

• Must be able to pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• One year in security, social services, or customer service preferred.
• HOUSING/EDUCATION: Completion of safety training within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Train Monitors in safety and security procedures (on-site).
• Provide ongoing safety leadership and shelter security.
• Monitor shelter entrance, screen bags/people entering, patrol premises.
• Ensure safety of clients, staff and visitors and report incidents.
• Assist with driving tasks if licensed and maintain trip records.
