Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of prior administrative/program experience.
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience in management.
• Minimum of a 4-year degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Resources, or comparable experience.
• Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle report, and reference checks.
• Ability to lift/carry/move a minimum of 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shelter operations team and volunteers to ensure 24-hour coverage.
• Oversee safety, security and welfare of residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per health codes and inspections.
• Assist with budget management for shelter services program.
• Coordinate childcare supervision, schedule activities and field trips.
• Ensure policies are followed and participate in dispute resolution.
