Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must pass criminal background check, motor vehicle report, and reference checks.
  • Must have clean driving record and automobile insurance.
  • No drivers under 21; no DUI or suspended licenses.
  • Personal automobile insurance proof required; ability to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention to residents and hotline callers.
  • Oversee safety and welfare of residents during shift.
  • Orient residents to shelter guidelines and ensure adherence.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and location.
  • Record, store, and secure donations.
  • Attend shelter and staff meetings; coordinate with team.
  • Oversee shelter cleanliness and assign chores as needed.
  • Submit maintenance requests for equipment/building repairs.
  • Check call notes and retrieve client messages.
  • Other duties as assigned.
