Job summary

Compass Connections in Robstown, Texas is seeking compassionate professionals to support shelter and group home operations for children. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology or related behavioral science, plus 5 years of related experience, with strong certifications in First aid, CPR and emergency intervention.

Salary is 94,224.00 annually. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science plus 5 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or childcare agency or organization.
Graduate degree in a related field is preferred.
First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications are required.

Responsibilities

Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
Monitor the program through frequent observation and evaluation of program services, buildings, grounds, equipment, staff, children and vehicles.
Develop proactive plans of action for areas of service assigned by the Program Director or Associate Executive Director.
Coordinate and facilitate budget management as a liaison between departments and leadership.
Provide timely feedback and support to personnel.
Develop and maintain personnel work schedules to ensure proper coverage and ratios.
