Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a Shelter Operations Manager to lead daily operations for emergency services, including 24/7 shelter, hotel, and crisis line. The role drives trauma-informed, survivor-centered care in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will supervise shelter staff, shape training, and collaborate with leadership to recruit and retain a skilled advocacy team, while ensuring compliance with program requirements and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in shelter operations or related field.
• Direct services experience with survivors of violence is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shelter, hotel, and 24/7 crisis line services in alignment with program standards.
• Provide staff supervision, coaching, and professional development.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and policy development with leadership.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, data privacy, and adherence to advocacy best practices.
• Manage administrative duties including reporting, budgeting, and facility operations.
