Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) seeks a Shelter Operations Manager in Seattle, WA. This full-time role supervises the Enhanced Shelter site operations, ensuring safety and coordination with Shelter Monitors, Case Managers, and LIHI Management.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, and on-call emergency coverage. The position emphasizes community oversight, reporting, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or human services.
• Ability to work with diverse populations with sensitivity.
• One year experience as a supervisor.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, and train staff, and interface with vendors, contractors, consultants, and community members.
• Complete staff evaluations, set goals with clear performance expectations.
• Address performance concerns and resolve issues.
• On-site monitoring of the Enhanced Shelter and surrounding areas; coordinate staffing and maintenance.
