Job summary

Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) is seeking a Property Manager II in Seattle to oversee housing management operations, maintain high occupancy, and ensure compliance with funding regulations. The role reports to the Area Manager and requires strong leadership across maintenance teams, budget management, and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include training staff, enforcing policies, coordinating with regional managers, and reporting to funders.

Qualifications

  • Four years of property management experience for buildings with 50+ units, elevators, and security.
  • Experience with landlord/tenant and Fair Housing laws.
  • Ability to read a budget and monitor expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support maintenance staff to ensure safety and quality work.
  • Ensure safety plans and compliance with regulatory requirements at LIHI properties.
  • Develop and implement housing management policies and procedures for consistency and funder compliance.
  • Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and unit turnover; prepare units for lease.
  • Maintain accurate financial reports, budgets, and funder reports; approve payroll and AP.
  • Conduct quarterly site reviews, tenant file audits, and capital needs assessments.
