Qualifications

• Some completion of college coursework in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred but not required.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs intake screening and orientation for new clients entering shelter.
• De-escalates clients and guides persons needing crisis assistance using training and judgment.
• Maintains documentation of client data and shelter census as per policy.
• Assists in serving meals to shelter residents and daily living activities.
• Stock supplies and maintain a clean, safe shelter environment.
• Coordinates referrals to other community services for client support.
