Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Manager to oversee case management and shelter operations at the Center of Hope in Sacramento. This role includes 24/7 monitoring, laundry services, and ensuring high-quality client services.

The candidate will supervise caseworkers, manage intake and case notes, and maintain HMIS reports for multiple shelter contracts. Strong bilingual ability and knowledge of local resources are preferred.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 3–5 years related experience required.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caseworkers and laundry staff at the Emergency Shelter.
• Assign and supervise daily tasks to caseworkers, monitors, and laundry staff.
• Manage provision of services to shelter clients.
• Maintain logs, reports, and client files for shelter clients.
• Input HMIS data for Prop-47 and other contracts.
