Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Shelter Supervisor to manage case managers and all related activities for providing shelter to homeless individuals and families at the Center of Hope. The role includes 24/7 monitoring services and ensuring laundry operations for clients.

The incumbent will supervise caseworkers and laundry staff, coordinate daily tasks, maintain logs and HMIS reports, and liaise with community resources to support clients’ housing and services needs.

Qualifications

• Supervise and support caseworkers and shelter staff to deliver case management services.
• Maintain accurate logs, client files, and HMIS reports for contracts.
• Coordinate referrals and community resources for shelter clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Caseworkers, monitor and laundry staff at the Emergency Shelter.
• Assign daily tasks and oversee service delivery to shelter clients.
• Maintain client files and reports for accountability and compliance.
• Enter intake and case management notes into Briges & Others software.
• Develop community referral lists and coordinate with partners.
