Job summary

The MSPCA-Angell invites a dedicated Shelter and Community Clinic Veterinarian to join our Boston team. The role focuses on medical care for shelter animals and community clinic patients, with exposure to high-volume spay/neuter, urgent outpatient surgery, and infectious disease control.

You will work with veterinarians, techs, and operations staff to maintain population health, capacity, and flow, reporting to the Director of Veterinary Medicine & Community Initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in veterinary medicine.
• Ability to obtain Massachusetts veterinary license.
• A controlled substance license and a Federal DEA license.
• Experience in shelter medicine or other high-volume setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care for shelter animals and community clinic patients.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain population health, capacity, and clinic flow.
