Job summary

Precision Castparts in Oregon is seeking an Assembly/Operations Associate responsible for rotating through all shell removal and cleaning processes to meet production flow. The role supports efficient parts handling from loading to final inspection, including operating blasting and waterjet equipment and delivering parts to downstream processes.

You will adhere to safety rules, verify part identifications, and train teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to rotate through all shell removal/cleaning processes.
• Follow safety rules and wear protective gear.
• Verify part identification and piece count.
• Train other operators as needed.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 pounds.
• Ability to read process sheets and routers.
• Ability to stand for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for safe work practices.
• Verify lot and part identification including piece count.
• Move and deliver parts to other cleaning operations.
• Train other operators in job accountabilities.
• Knock off shell material and remove exothermic material.
• Operate gritblast and waterblast equipment.
• Inspect parts for cleanliness and defects.
